To thread your bobbin place your spool of thread on the spindle at the back of the sewing machine. Once youve chosen the thread you want to use for your project you will need to wind it onto your bobbin before you can continue with your project.

This is important because it makes the thread enter the tension spring of the bobbin case. Turn the hand wheel towards you so the needle hooks up the top thread with the bottom thread.

Basically though you just place the bobbin in the bobbin holder and wind the thread around the loop in the bobbin holder. Leave a 4-5 inch tail. Check your instruction manual for the details on your machine.

And that is it. Place the plat back over the bobbin by placing it halfway over the bobbin and then sliding it back into place. With a finger held gently on top of the bobbin continue to draw the thread until it slips into the other notch.
